FAQ's
What are your business hours? Our business hours are from 10am – 6pm Monday-Saturday by appointment only. Special scheduling is offered for those needing an appointment outside of regular business hours.
Where is the shop located? The shop is located inside the Fred Williams building. We ask that our clients park on the back side near the black railing and come through that door. The shop is the third door on the left side --- Suite 106.
How long does it take to make my garment? Timing varies. Timeline for individual pieces will be established during the consultation appointment.
How long does it take for alterations? We have a one to two week turn around time for all alteration services including wedding gowns. To have your item back even sooner, feel free to call the shop at 912.482.1133. Please keep in mind that a rush fee will be added to the total cost.
What should I bring to my fitting? You should bring the under garments you plan to wear underneath your dress as well as heels. If you have not selected the shoes at the time of the first fitting you should bring shoes with the same heel height you plan to wear.
How many fittings will I need for a custom outfit? You will need between 2-4 fittings depending upon design.
Do you provide alteration services for garments not created by you? Yes, we provide alterations on other garments.
How much is the consultation fee for a custom outfit? The consultation fee is $30 and is non refundable.
What is your refund policy? Due to providing custom and alterations services, we do not provide refunds. Any materials purchased for the construction of a custom garment will be returned to the client or held to cover any unpaid service fees.
What method of payment do you accept? We accept cash, debit and credit cards.
**Alteration clients please note — Full payment is due at the end of your first alterations fitting appointment. Any additional alterations that are needed after the first fitting that were not included in the first total will result in additional fees at the expense of the client.
What if I change my mind? Depending on the status of the construction process, you will be required to pay for services performed to that point. Any materials purchased to construct the garment(s) will be returned to the client or held to cover any unpaid service fees. Changes to the design after the initial fitting are subject to additional fees and/or costs.
How much is my deposit for a custom gown? Deposit cost depends on materials needed to construct the garment. The deposit is required before the garment construction process begins. Fees charged to create the look are due at the time of pick up.
Do you take “walk-ins?” Due to giving undivided attention to each of our clients we are appointment only.
How many guests can I bring with me? Spacing and seating are limited, therefore, we ask that you bring no more than two guests with you to your appointment(s). Please note: Special arrangements can be made for bridal parties. Be sure to contact us in advance to schedule.
Can I bring my own fabric(s)? To ensure garment quality, we do not allow clients to bring in their own fabrics.
Will my custom gown look exactly like the picture? We do not replicate designs but we work very closely with the client to ensure we create their desired look with a uniqueness. Variations to the original design concept may present themselves based on availability of fabrics, design details, and physique.
